Telomere Biology and Psychosocial Stress in NCAA Division 1 and Division 3 Swimmers
I collected dried blood spot samples of NCAA swimmers from division 1 and division 3 colleges across and country and interviewed them to infer the levels of stress they experience and how this may affect their biology.
What I learned
I learned to persevere, work to be flexible, and keep an open mind throughout the data collection process while remaining patient.
Advice for future applicants
Do not be intimidated by your goals, if they don’t scare you a little they aren’t big enough.
