Advising
The Mary Gates Endowment offers advising year-round through information sessions, workshops, and drop-in advising hours.
If you are a future or previous Leadership or Research Scholarship applicant
- Explore the resources on this site and please review the scholarship(s) of interest pages:
- Attend an Info Session or watch the recorded sessions that cover most of the questions applicants tend to have:
- Video: Eligibility, Award & Mentors
- Video: Mary Gates Leadership Scholarship
- Video: Mary Gates Research Scholarship
- Video: Application Written Components
- For support with your application materials ahead of the deadline, sign up for one of our workshops. As you draft your application materials, bring specific questions to an advisor at a workshop.
- Email mgates@uw.edu or attend a weekly drop-in time with questions not answered by the information on this website or in an information session/workshop.
If you are interested in the Community Investment Scholarship
- Please review the Community Investment Scholarship pages in advance for scholarship information and eligibility.
- Attend drop-in advising to further discuss your potential Community Investment Scholarship project proposal.
