Review and decisions

A committee reads every application, interviews a short list of candidates, and reaches decisions in about twelve weeks.

After you submit, your application moves through a review process that takes roughly twelve weeks from start to finish. Here's what happens along the way.

Every complete application is read by the selection committee — a group made up of staff and community partners.

A small number of candidates are invited to interview. If your application moves forward, you'll be contacted to schedule an interview with members of the committee, and you'll receive interview information materials beforehand.

Final decisions are made after the interviews. The Endowment notifies every applicant by email, whether or not you're awarded, and you can follow your status through the online application at any point.
